- How do you sleep at night? With lots of pillows, buried in blankets, drenched in the blood of your enemies?

I'm not that picky. We never know what to expect when we're traveling, so I've gotten used to sleeping just about anywhere - inside, outside, on the gummi ship, we make it work.

Having a real bed is nice, though, if it's up to me. Oh! Lots of blankets, too, if it's cold. It's never a problem at home, but some worlds get really chilly at night...

[A lot of them, honestly. He really didn't know how good they had it on the islands before his adventures started.]

- What is one thing you'll never do again?

[When he hears this question, Sora thinks of Riku.

He thinks of the Riku from about a year ago - oh, no, two, he keeps forgetting about the year he was asleep. But he thinks of his best friend, holding out a hand as darkness swallowed their home - swallowed him. How he could feel that something was wrong, and couldn't bring himself to take that hand.

It was the right thing to do, and Sora knows that he's come so far because of how everything unfolded in the wake of that fateful night. But he also remembers visiting world after world, all the while searching for Riku and Kairi. Wondering and worrying about when he would see his best friends again, sometimes about if he would see them again, and...

He isn't sure if he would be able to make that same choice now.

But what can he say? That he'll never leave his friends to fight alone again? Because even if he doesn't want to, that's...

...there is one thing he can say, though. One thing he does have control over.]

I'll never take the people I care about for granted again. I'll do whatever I can to be there for them when they need me.

[Even if he doesn't know how. Even if it might be impossible.

[Sora has been wandering in something of a daze since he finally left the room he woke up in.

Truth be told, he isn't sure what to make of all of this. He's half-convinced that this is an especially weird dream, but considering how he got here the only thing he knows is that he can't be sure of anything. Honestly, he hadn't had any idea of what to expect after he disappeared - he hadn't thought about it that far, really - but Sora thinks that if he had sat down and made a list of where he thought he would end up, "kidnapped by aliens and put in an alien zoo" wouldn't have been on it.

At least they seem like friendly aliens. Friendly dream aliens. Friendly real aliens?

When he walks into the lounge he lets out a huge, loud yawn that he barely manages to cover his mouth for. He's tired. Which makes sense, given that he's been going nonstop since they had set off for the Keyblade Graveyard. But he's also restless. He doesn't know what to do with himself, so he just starts poking around, trying to see what there is to find.

Sora picks up a book from one of the tables and flips through it, only to find that it's just two words repeated over and over again:

FUCK YOU

...and, with the distant sense that somewhere, somehow Jiminy, the King, and his parents were all watching with silent and unwavering disapproval, he gently puts the book back down and walks away.

Maybe he should take a nap.]
